Emma Griffin

As a Provisional Psychologist, Emma works compassionately with clients to help identify their strengths and create meaningful change. She seeks to provide a safe, nurturing and inclusive space for clients to explore what’s on their mind. She takes privilege in listening to each clients’ stories, believes profoundly in each person as an individual with their own personal experiences and looks forward to supporting them in re-writing their own narrative.

Emma has a background working with adults rehabilitate from psychological injuries including PTSD, depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders. Emma uses a variety of evidence-based person centered approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Self-Compassion Therapy.

Zarina Chohan

Zarina is a highly skilled clinician with a warm and authentic persona. Her practice is non-judgmental and underpinned by a strong academic and research interest in investigative psychology to find the root causes of presenting issues. Zarina treats every case on its unique circumstances and often brings clarity to complex situations. She is highly perceptive and delivers therapeutic strategies that empower her clients to overcome adversity and find the courage to face the future. Zarina works with clients to develop skills, set tangible goals and to work towards rewarding end results. She offers both long and short-term psychotherapy.

She uses an integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs. With over 10 years of experience serving clients from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, she has the professional experience to
appreciate issues from competing perspectives and often calls on this strength to guide her clients to resolve emotive relationship issues. Zarina draws on an expansive international experience to work effectively with people from all walks of life, regardless of their race, creed or economic status. Zarina also has a strong corporate and business management experience.

Yes, you can attend our clinics for face to face appointment. Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

We are open 5 days a week:

Mondays – Fridays – 8:30am – 5:00pm 

We have strong demand for our services and may not be able to offer an immediate appointment. However if your matter is urgent, we may be able to make an exception to see you sooner. Our Current wait time varies but on average it is 10 – 14 days. From May 2024, we are adding more members to our team and will have more capacity.

Nexus CAP has appointments on every business day from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm . Please contact us for more information.

We understand that cancellations are sometimes necessary, but we do require a 48 hour notice. That allows someone on what can be a long waiting list to fill your appointment. You will receive a reminder 48 hours prior to ensure enough time to reschedule.
Cancellations outside these notice period do attract a 50% – 100% cancellation fee, depending on the terms of your contract with us.
